A recorded X Spaces conversation, shared by U.S.-based Brazilian commentator Claudia Aker, shows participants planning coordinated online actions — including the hashtag #DeportTheBolsonaros.
NEW YORK — A recorded X Spaces discussion involving a group of Brazilians, both in Brazil and abroad, has revealed what participants describe as a coordinated plan to campaign in the United States against former President Donald Trump ahead of the midterm elections, according to a post by U.S.-based Brazilian commentator Claudia Aker.
The conversation, held on October 27, 2026, was organized by the X account @alqmiztah and titled “USA refúgio de criminosos golpistas e terroristas #DeportTheBolsonaros.” It lasted more than four hours and drew approximately 1,100 participants, according to information shared by Aker.
Participants discussed coordinated online actions to influence the U.S. political debate, including mobilizing supporters from the so-called “Lula’s army” — a network linked to André Janones, a federal deputy from Minas Gerais with more than 10 million followers across social media platforms.
What was said
Some participants referred to themselves as “Lula’s soldiers” or “Janones’s soldiers,” expressing a willingness to do “whatever it takes” to achieve their political goals. The discussion also included personal attacks on the Bolsonaro family — particularly Flávio Bolsonaro, a sitting Brazilian senator — as well as on President Donald Trump and U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio.
Narratives aligned with the Brazilian far left were explicitly spread during the Space, Aker reported, with calls to brand Brazilian conservatives in the United States as “criminal coup-plotters” who should be deported.
Aker stated that the entire conversation was recorded and will be forwarded to the FBI, the State Department, and U.S. elected officials so they can assess the content and determine whether it contains any threats to U.S. political processes or any violations of U.S. laws regarding foreign interference in elections.
Independent verification
The authenticity of the recording itself has been widely discussed on social media. While the X Spaces session and the hashtag #DeportTheBolsonaros have been confirmed as real, there is no independent verification, so far, of a coordinated plan to interfere in U.S. midterm elections, nor is there evidence that Deputy André Janones personally directed the effort or that the FBI has opened an investigation.
The Watch Post Daily will update this story as public filings or official statements become available.
